Sunset time changes during the year, so arrive around 30–45 minutes before sunset rather than relying on a fixed clock time. Day 5: Rach Vem, Ong Lang and a slower final day

Keep the final day flexible. If the season, tide and weather are favourable, visit Rach Vem in the north for a quieter coastal experience and the chance to see starfish in shallow water.
