Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. General Terms

By booking any service with Sabrina Rental Phu Quoc ("we", "us", "our"), you ("the customer", "renter") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services including motorbike rental, car rental, boat tours, water sports, and accommodation.

2. Rental Agreement

2.1 Eligibility

  • Motorbike rental: you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license (Vietnamese or international with appropriate motorcycle endorsement).
  • Car rental: you must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license. International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended.
  • A valid passport or government-issued ID is required for all vehicle rentals.

2.2 Rental Period

  • Rental periods begin and end at the agreed time. Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • Extensions must be arranged in advance via WhatsApp or phone.
  • Daily rentals are based on a 24-hour period from the time of pickup.

2.3 Vehicle Condition

  • Vehicles are provided in good working condition. You must inspect the vehicle at pickup and report any existing damage.
  • You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear.
  • Fuel: motorbikes are provided with a full tank and should be returned full. Cars follow the same policy unless otherwise agreed.

3. Liability and Damages

  • You are responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle during your rental period, including damage caused by accidents, misuse, or negligence.
  • In case of an accident, notify us immediately via WhatsApp (+84 948 523 139). Do not leave the scene.
  • We are not liable for personal injury, loss of belongings, or indirect damages arising from the use of our rental vehicles.
  • Riding or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and voids all liability protections.
  • Helmets are mandatory for motorbike riders and passengers. We provide helmets free of charge.

4. Deposit and Payment

  • A refundable deposit may be required for vehicle rentals. The deposit amount varies by vehicle type and is communicated at booking.
  • Deposits are returned in full upon return of the vehicle in good condition.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash (VND or USD), bank transfer, or through booking platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb for accommodation).
  • Prices quoted are in USD or VND as indicated. Exchange rates for cash payments follow the current market rate.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Vehicle Rentals (Motorbikes, Cars, Boats)

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the rental cost.
  • No-shows are charged the full rental amount for the first day.

5.2 Accommodation

  • Cancellation policies vary by room type and booking platform. Refer to your booking confirmation for specific terms.
  • Direct bookings: free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. Late cancellations are charged one night's stay.

5.3 Boat Tours and Water Sports

  • Tours may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather conditions at no charge.
  • Customer-initiated cancellations follow the same policy as vehicle rentals.

6. Accommodation Terms

  • Check-in: 14:00. Check-out: 12:00. Early check-in or late check-out subject to availability.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to the room or property during their stay.
  • Smoking is not permitted in rooms. Designated smoking areas are available.
  • Pets are not allowed unless specifically agreed in advance.
  • Quiet hours: 22:00 to 07:00 out of respect for other guests.

7. Prohibited Uses

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Using rental vehicles for racing, off-road use (unless specifically rented for that purpose), or any illegal activity.
  • Sub-renting or lending the vehicle to a third party.
  • Taking rental vehicles off Phu Quoc Island without prior written consent.
  • Operating vehicles while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

8. Insurance

Basic vehicle insurance is included in the rental price. This covers third-party liability only. Comprehensive insurance for damage to the rental vehicle is the renter's responsibility. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers vehicle rentals in Vietnam.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we will first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of Vietnam and handled through the appropriate courts in Kien Giang Province.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government regulations, pandemics, or civil unrest. In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or a full refund.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
