Do I need a license to rent a motorbike in Phu Quoc?

Technically yes — Vietnamese law requires an International Driving Permit (IDP) with a motorcycle endorsement. In practice, most rental shops don't ask for one, but police occasionally set up checkpoints. We recommend getting an IDP before your trip to avoid potential fines of 800,000-1,200,000 VND ($32-48).

Is it safe to ride a motorbike in Phu Quoc?

Phu Quoc is much safer than mainland Vietnam cities like Ho Chi Minh. The roads are wide, traffic is light (especially in the north), and speeds are low. We provide helmets and a safety briefing with every rental. Stick to main roads at night and always wear your helmet.

What's included in the room price?

All rooms include free WiFi (100 Mbps), daily cleaning, fresh towels and bed linens, 24/7 check-in, and access to our common area. AC rooms include air conditioning. We also provide free drinking water and local tips to help you explore the island.

Do you offer airport pickup?

Yes! We offer reliable airport transfer for just $8 one way. Send us your flight details on WhatsApp, and our driver will be waiting with a name sign at the arrival gate. The drive to our guesthouse takes about 15 minutes.

Can I book for a month or longer?

Absolutely! Many of our guests are digital nomads and long-term travelers. We offer 15% discount for weekly stays (7-14 nights) and 30% discount for monthly stays (30+ nights). Our Comfort Room at $18/night becomes just $12.60/night with the monthly discount.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash (VND, USD), bank transfer (Vietnamese banks), and international transfers via Wise or PayPal. For motorbike and car rentals, payment is on delivery. For accommodation, we ask for a small deposit via WhatsApp to confirm your booking.

Is there a deposit required for motorbike rental?

We ask for a small cash deposit (usually 1,000,000-2,000,000 VND / $40-80) or you can leave a copy of your passport. The deposit is fully refunded when you return the motorbike in good condition. No deposit needed for our accommodation guests.
